Shipping Policy — Alchimia Vitrum
1. Order Processing & Preparation
Each Alchimia Vitrum piece is handcrafted and carefully prepared prior to shipping. Our processing times are as follows:

In-stock products: 1–3 business days

One-of-a-kind or custom pieces: Processing times vary depending on the complexity of the piece and the availability of materials. You will be contacted directly after your purchase with a personalized time estimate.
Orders placed over the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.
2. Couriers & Shipping Methods
Shipments are managed through Mail Boxes Etc., which partners with major international couriers (such as DHL, GLS, UPS, BRT) depending on the destination and shipment type. The specific courier will be specified in your shipping confirmation email along with its tracking number.
3. Delivery Times & Rates
Italy
- Estimated delivery: 1–3 business days from shipment

Europe (EU)
- Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days from shipment
- Rates: Calculated at checkout based on the destination country
- ℹ️ United Kingdom and Norway: Although included in our European shipping zones, they are not part of the EU. Any customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
Rest of the World (USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc.)
- Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days from shipment
- Rates: Calculated at checkout based on the destination country
- ⚠️ Any customs duties, import taxes, and administrative fees are the responsibility of the recipient and vary according to the regulations of the destination country.
4. Shipment Tracking
As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email containing a tracking number to follow your delivery in real time on the courier's website.
5. Failed Delivery
If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the courier will leave a notice and attempt a second delivery or hold the package at a local pick-up point. If the package is not collected within the timeframe specified by the courier, it will be returned to us. In this case, we will contact you to arrange a new shipment (any additional shipping costs will be charged to the customer).
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
In the event that a package is lost or damaged during transit, please contact us within 7 days of the estimated delivery date at info@alchimiavitrum.com. We will open a claim with the courier and update you on the outcome as quickly as possible.
