Can I return or exchange my order?
Yes, you can request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, the item must be undamaged, unused, and in its original condition.
Please keep the following in mind:
- Excluded Products: By law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or personalized items (e.g., custom jewelry created upon request or tailored during a personalized stringing service).
- Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer.
- Item Integrity and Packaging: Since these are pieces of artistic glass, the goods must be returned in their original packaging. This packaging has been specifically designed to protect the item from impact. If the product is returned in different or inadequate packaging, we cannot guarantee its safety during transit. In the event of damage or breakage, no refund will be issued.
How to proceed:
Please send us an email at info@alchimiavitrum.com, including your order number and the reason for the return or exchange. We will provide you with the workshop address for the shipment. Once we receive the item and verify its condition, we will process your refund or exchange within 14 business days.
What if the product breaks during shipping?
We use specialized packaging designed specifically for glass and fully tested to withstand impact. In the unlikely event that a piece arrives damaged, please send us a photo within 24 hours of delivery, and we will arrange for a replacement or a full refund.
Are there any purchases that are non-refundable?
In accordance with Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, custom-made or personalized products (such as bracelets created during our personalized stringing service) cannot be returned, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
When will I receive my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with further details and tracking information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Experiences & Services
Will the workshop really be reserved just for me?
Yes. To ensure privacy and an authentic experience, our doors are closed to the general public during your booked time slot. Only you (or your private group) and the artisan will be present in the studio.
What happens if I arrive late?
Since the studio is closed exclusively for you, the start time is strictly binding. A delay of more than [X] minutes may shorten the duration of your experience, so as not to interfere with subsequent bookings or workshop operations.
Is the experience safe? Can children partecipate?
Yes, children are welcome. The hands-on bead-stringing phase is a safe activity that involves no physical risks or dangerous tools. However, please keep the following in mind:
- Mandatory Supervision: The constant presence of a parent or a responsible adult is required for the entire duration of the experience. The studio does not provide childcare services; the accompanying adult holds sole responsibility for supervising the minor and managing their behavior within the workspace.
- Safety During the Demonstration: During the hot glassworking phase (lampworking), children must observe the technique from the safety distance indicated by the artisan to avoid any contact with the heat of the flame.
- Nature of the Experience: This activity is designed as a shared moment between adult and child within a real production environment, surrounded by delicate materials and professional equipment.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Certainly. However, we kindly ask you to notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Since the studio is reserved exclusively for you, a late cancellation prevents us from reorganizing our production schedule or welcoming other visitors. In the event of notice given less than 48 hours before the appointment, no refund can be issued.
Products & Craftmanship
Is it authentic Murano glass?
Yes, every bead and piece of jewelry is crafted entirely by hand in our Venice studio, using exclusively Murano glass canes from the Effetre s.r.l. furnace.
Are the beads and items exactly the same as in the photos?
Since our products are handcrafted using freehand techniques, every single piece is unique. Minor variations in size or color shading are not defects; rather, they are proof of the authenticity of the lampwork process.
Can I order a piece of jewelry in a color not listed on the website?
Certainly. As an artisan studio, we can create our designs in various color combinations and shapes. Send us an email to share your idea with us. Please note that, since these items are custom-made to order, they are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
How do I clean glass jewelry?
A soft, dry cloth is all you need. Avoid prolonged contact with perfumes or chemical products, which could tarnish the metal components or dull the surface decorations.
Personalized Stringing Service
Can I bring my own beads to be strung?
Our service is exclusively dedicated to beads produced in our own studio, in order to guarantee the technical compatibility of the holes and the final quality of the design.
How is the final price of the custom jewelry calculated?
You will pay a fixed fee for the consultation and technical assembly (as indicated on the website). The cost of the selected beads will be calculated during the session and settled in the studio, based on the value of the individual pieces you choose.
